Clergy Career Reorientation

In the past 40 years many clergy have left active ministry, or switched ministries, and the challenge is often formidable.  Clergy are well educated, well-trained, and very experienced in working with people in personal counseling situations, education, administration and in a variety of social work settings that arise in parish life.

However, if their degree is not in the particular area in which they have experience a priest or minister can feel inadequate when suddenly faced with seeking employment outside a parish or even outside a Church setting.  Employment in the secular fields may  be a new experience for many who have spent many years working hard and serving others.  Putting that past clerical experience into secular terms, and discovering what may or may not be required to fulfill new employment demands can be overwhelming.

We are available to assist clergy or former clergy who are seeking to transfer their education and skills to the secular workplace, and we do so while profoundly respecting and appreciating the values that such an individual brings to any career or work setting she or he may enter.

Our own spiritual motivation and values inspire us to help such clergy in the practical aspect of skills evaluation, current new career goals, and resume writing.  We totally respect confidentiality regarding the career or vocational change you are making.

If we can be of assistance to you, please contact us at:
